Learn how to customize your InspireMe App Widget.
Adding Widgets
Home Screen Widget
- Long-press on the home screen to enter edit mode.
- Tap the + button in the top-left corner.
- Search for InspireMe and select it.
- Choose your preferred size (Small, Medium, Large) and type (Quote of the Day, Random Quote).
- Tap Add Widget.
Lock Screen Widget (iPhone/iPad)
- Long-press the lock screen and select Customize.
- Tap Lock Screen.
- Tap the widget area and add an InspireMe widget.
- Choose from rectangular, circular, or inline styles.
Widget Types
| Widget | Description |
|---|---|
| Quote of the Day | A new quote appears automatically every day at midnight |
| Random Quote | Quotes refresh at your chosen interval |
Widget Sizes

Settings
Configure the following options in the app's Settings tab.
Language
Korean and English are supported. Change the language in settings to update the quotes displayed in your widgets.
Refresh Interval
Set how often the Random Quote widget updates.
- Range: 1 hour to 72 hours
- Default: 4 hours
- On Medium/Large widgets, tap the refresh button to instantly load a new quote.
Themes
Choose from 5 available themes:

| Purple Gradient | Default theme with purple gradient tones |
| Dark Elegant | Sophisticated style with dark background |
| Warm Brown | Warm brown tones |
| Nature Green | Nature-inspired green palette |
| Light | Clean, minimal style with light background |
Topic Filter
Receive quotes only from topics you care about.
- Tap Topic Filter in the settings screen.
- Type a topic in the search field (e.g., motivation, happiness, love).
- Select from the autocomplete results.
- Only quotes matching your selected topics will appear in the widget.
Tap Actions
Tapping on the widget navigates to the corresponding page on the InspireMe website.
- Tap quote → Quote detail page
- Tap author → Author page
